What an incredible 2026 season! Whether measuring success by trophies on the cabinet or by the incredible culture built off the pitch, both our women’s and men’s programs gave us so much to celebrate this year. Here is a look back at an unforgettable year for our club.
2026 Women’s Program: Culture, Camaraderie, and the Future
Our SL2 Women’s team wrapped up their campaign in the bottom half of the ladder, but for our social women, the final standings tell only a fraction of the story. For this group, football has never been strictly about wins or ladder positions—it’s about inclusion, connection, and creating a supportive space where women can fall in love with sport (and stay in it!).
Throughout 2026, our women built an enviable reputation across the league as a joy to play against. Win, lose, or draw, every match ended the same beautiful way: bringing both teams together in a blended post-game circle to celebrate the game, honor each other's efforts, and share the pure camaraderie that makes grassroots sport special.
Looking Ahead to 2027: Building on this amazing foundation, our goals for next season are ambitious:
Maintain Our Social Heart: We will keep our social team thriving to ensure soccer remains accessible, fun, and inclusive for everyone.
Build a Competitive Path: We aim to launch a second women’s team focused on competitive development, setting our sights on aiming for Women’s Social League 1 in 2027.
Men’s Program: High Drama and Cup Glory
Over on the men's side, our Senior Men’s SL2 squad delivered a season packed with intensity and silverware. Thriving in a competitive environment, the boys put together a brilliant campaign to finish a very respectable 2nd on the ladder.
While a top-two league finish is a fantastic achievement, the defining highlight of the year came in the League 2 Cup Final. Facing off against the ladder-leaders, Kingborough, our men delivered an electrifying performance to lift the trophy and claim ultimate cup glory! It was a thrilling reward for all their hard work and determination this season.
Thank You for a Great Year!
To all our players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters—thank you for making 2026 such a memorable season. Enjoy the well-deserved off-season, and we can’t wait to see everyone back at the pitch in 2027!
